Walt Marshall is
a veteran of the Richmond, California police department where he served on the
High Risk Entry Team for 18 years. He has spent much of his career training law
enforcement, military, and civilians.
From 1992 to 2001
Mr. Marshall was a Staff Instructor Gunsite Training Center a Range Master for
Pistol, Shotgun, Rifle and Law Enforcement Training, an Instructor of Entry
Techniques and Tactics for both indoor and outdoor and an Instructor of Special
Forces and US Navy Seal members.
From 1990 to 1993
Mr. Marshall was Chief Instructor for Advanced Tactics & Survival, Inc.,
Instructor of SWAT units on CQB, Sniping, Shotgun, Pistol, and Submachine gun
with emphasis on entry techniques, Instructor of SWAT teams from San Francisco,
Richmond, Danville, Alameda, and Hayward Police Departments, and Alameda County
Sheriff units.
Mr. Marshall was a Police Officer for the City of Richmond, California, a Patrol
Officer for 3 years, assigned Narcotics for 10 years, High Risk Entry Team for
18 years. He completed approximately 5,000 live entries. He was a member of SWAT
unit, Senior Firearms Instructor, Instructor of Pistol, Shotgun, Sniper, SWAT,
and Entry Tactics for 23 years. He received the Special Chief of Police
Commendation for development and implementation of Tactical Training Program
regarding entry and searching techniques.
Mr. Marshall was
honorably Discharged from active duty in the US Army where he served on European
and Far East Assignments.
Mr. Marshall
received an Associate Degree in Police Science. He has certificates in:

Mr. Marshall is a Benefactor Member of the NRA. NRA Firearms Instructor for Shotgun, Rifle, Pistol, Personal Defense,
and Home Protection. A Life Member of the International Association of Law
Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI). A member of National Tactical
Institute. And a Life Member of the Law Enforcement Alliance of America.
