The Tactical Pistol series of classes are designed to train the
novice and experienced shooter in the art of tactical combat. Each course is
designed to provide an ever increasing level of knowledge and challenge to the
student.
Marking cartridges are introduced during each level of the Tactical Pistol
Series in carefully designed scenarios. Each scenario is designed by our
trained staff of law enforcement officers to simulate real life situations that
have occurred on the street or in homes. The use of marking cartridges allows the
student to feel what it is like to be in a stressful situation under live fire,
while remaining safe. During the exercises the Scenario Master is
consistently watching and following the student through the course to aide in
their understanding of the tactical situations as they occur. After each
scenario the student is debriefed and the tactics used and decisions made are
critiqued. In this way the student begins to understand, modify and utilize the
knowledge of the class in "life like" environments that take into account the
real nature of potential combat in a life threatening situation.
Since violence can occur at any time of day, being able to use combat
skills at night is extremely important. Night shooting skills are progressively
taught, developed and stressed in the advanced classes of the Tactical Pistol
Series.
